The Snorkel Vent has been seeking to move into new territory, and we have found that our customers are using them for lots of new applications.

  • In as far away as Australia, customers are attaching the Snorkel Vents to their homes, and then raising the level of their driveway. If the vents/airbricks had just been covered all ventilation would have been removed from under the floorboards. If a little gap had been left, leaves would have collected and water would have flowed down in. However, by using a Snorkel Vent, water can not enter and there is no potential for sediment build-up.

  • Closer to home, they are being fitted out of sight in the render around buildings. Hidden out of sight but doing the the exact thing they are meant to: extending the height of vents just like a snorkel.
