The Flood door can be deployed or removed in under 5 seconds. It is surely the quickest and easiest to fit flood barrier on the market. Simply slot into place and push down the locking handles.

A builder is not required to fit the Flood Door. Simply secure the locking strips onto the door frame, or the wall surrounding the door, with the screws provided and you’re done. If you prefer not to drill into a PVC frame a PVC locking strip can be bonded to the frame instead.

The Flood Door uses an innovative patent pending locking system. When the locking handles are depressed the panel moves simultaneously downwards and inwards compressing a thick foam seal against the step and the door frame.

Like some other flood barriers the flood door uses the pressure of the flood water to push it against the door frame and further compress the side seals. Unlike all other systems the clever design of the Flood Door uses this pressure to also force the panel downwards. This further compresses the bottom seal against the step. This is important as this seal is under greatest water pressure.

The Flood Door is disabled access friendly. It seals directly to the door frame and step - no rails, ramps or channels need to be installed.
